Paris

Paris is arguably the most romantic city in the world and the perfect venue for a Valentine break. You can have walks by the Seine, intimate dinners in small bistros and visit the multitude of museums, art galleries and tourist attractions. There’s the bohemian atmosphere of Montmartre with its artists; the chic Champs Elysees, the wonderful views from the Eiffel Tower and perhaps just share a few moments over a drink in one of the many cafes and bars that can be found throughout the city.

On a typical day in Paris (assuming you’re situated in one of the hotels close to the Champs Elysees) it would be great to have a walk along the river and make your way to the Rodin Museum which has exquisite gardens. This can be followed by a trip to the Latin Quarter where it’s customary to enjoy a glass of wine at one of the bistros. This is also the cinema heart of Paris and there’s plenty of old romantic re-runs on show. For dinner the elegant Place Vendome is about as good as it gets. Or alternatively, there’s the Restaurant Garnier. A moonlight walk would round off the day perfectly.
