Location: The airport is located near Luton, 16km
(10 miles) from the M25 (London's ring road) and
a 30-minute drive from north London.

Driving directions:
From the
M25, exit at junction 21 for access to the M1. From
the M1, exit at junction 10 and follow signs to
the airport. From the east and A1, take the A505
dual carriageway; the airport lies just off the
A505 and is clearly signposted. From the west, travelling
via the M40 and then the M25, join the M1 and exit
at junction 10.
Car parking:
Short-term
parking is available near the terminal building.
Executive parking is located next to the short-term
car park and is a short walk from the terminal via
an undercover walkway; travellers should follow
the gold P signs upon arrival at the airport. Long-term
parking is connected to the terminal by courtesy
buses; a pre-confirmed booking reference is required.
On arrival at the airport travellers should follow
the pink P signs; at the drive-through check-in/reception
building cars will be taken to the nearby compound.
Standard long-term parking is connected to the terminal
by courtesy buses; on arrival at the airport, travellers
should follow the green P signs.
Public
transport and taxis:
Luton Airport
Parkway, on the Thameslink railway line (web site:
www.thameslink.co.uk), is connected to the terminal
by a free shuttle bus service. Bus no. 757 is an
express coach (tel: (0)345 788 788) which runs daily
between the airport and central London; National
Express coaches (tel: (0)990 808 080) run from the
airport to destinations all over the country. Cambridge
Coach services (tel: (0)1233 236 333) operate between
the towns of Luton and Cambridge, and Heathrow and
Gatwick airports. Bus services (tel: (0)345 788
788) also connect the airport with the surrounding
areas. Coach pick-up and set-down points are situated
in front of the terminal. Cabco (tel: (0)1582 736
666) and Dial-a-Cab (tel: (0)1582 735 555) operate
taxis from the airport.

and help desks:
There is
a 24-hour information desk just inside the main
entrance with multi-lingual staff on hand (tel:
(0)1582 405 100) and fax facilities. An airline
transfer desk is located in the baggage reclaim
area of the international arrivals hall.
Airport

Four bureaux
de change and several ATMs are available in the
terminal. Travel insurance and phonecards are available
from the bureaux de change (tel: (0)1582 687 000/730
700) which is open 24 hours and is located in the
check-in area. There is an amusement arcade in the
domestic departures lounge. A postal service is
located near the main entrance. The airport has
a range of restaurants, bars and shops. Facilities
for children include a children's playcentre and
babycare rooms. There is a lost property office

There is
an executive lounge in the international departures
lounge (tel: (0)1582 395 245) which provides fax
and internet facilities, payphones, newspapers and
complimentary drinks and snacks. Fax, telephone,
internet and e-mail facilities are available in
the domestic departures lounge.

The airport
is fully accessible to disabled passengers. Disabled
toilets are located in the main terminal building.
Passengers who require help boarding aircraft should

of the short-term car park.
