Driving directions:
From Leeds,
the airport can be reached by following signs for
Yeadon and Otley on the A660. Just after Bramhope,
drivers should turn onto the A658 towards Yeadon.
From Bradford, take the A658 out of the city centre
and again follow signs for Yeadon and Guiseley.
The airport is well signposted from the M1 and M62
motorways and from the A1.
Car parking:
The airport
has short-term and long-term car parks (tel: (0)113
250 9696, ext 2477), which are clearly signposted.
The short-term car park has space for 703 cars and
the long-term car park has space for 1307 cars.
Courtesy buses operate between the car parks and
the terminal. Passengers should pay for car parking
on return to their vehicle; payment stations can
be found in the arrivals and departures concourse
areas. Off-site parking is also available in nearby
Yeadon and is operated by Sentinel Security Car
Park (tel: (0)113 239 1555).
Public
transport and taxis:
LBA Airlink
operates coaches between the airport and Leeds city
centre. Coaches leave from stand 4 at Leeds bus
station and from stand S11 outside the train station.
For travel information, contact Metro (tel: (0)113
245 7676). Once in Leeds, passengers can connect
with train services across England, which depart
from the central railway station. Taxi companies
which serve the airport include Streamline (tel:
(0)113 244 3322), Telecabs (tel: (0)113 231 9000)
and City Cabs (tel: (0)113 246 9999).

information is available and is displayed in the
arrivals concourse. Airport information (tel: (0)113

Airport facilities:
There are
numerous pubs, cafés and snack bars at the airport
(tel: (0)113 250 9696, ext 2325). A children's play
area is provided by Airtours in the international
departures lounge and a mother and baby room can
be found next to the information desk. Shops include
a duty and tax-free shop, a bookshop, newsagents,
hosiery and lingerie shop, gift shop and travel
agent. Bureau de change facilities are located in
both arrivals and departures.
Conference and business facilities:
There
is an executive lounge (tel: (0)113 239 1583) on
the first floor in the domestic departures lounge.
Facilities include a bar, complimentary newspapers,
fax machine, power points for laptops and telephone.
British Midland also has a Diamond Club Lounge (tel:
(0)113 391 3379) in the domestic departures areas,
with bar, fax, telephone and photocopying facilities.
Passengers can also join the Yorkshire Executive
Club (tel: (0)113 239 1455), which offers complimentary
car parking and complete use of the executive lounge.
Disabled Facilities:
There are
reserved car parking spaces in the short-term car
park opposite the terminal. Disabled passengers
can park in the short-term car park for extended
periods at long-term rates on production of an orange
badge. There is a lift between the arrivals and
departures concourse. Disabled toilets are situated
next to the information desk and in the international
departures lounge. Wheelchairs, ramps, ambulift
transport and extra assistance are all available
on request from the information desk.
