Driving directions:
The airport
is located about 20 minutes' drive from Glasgow,
just north of the M8 motorway at junction 28, with
good access to a network of main A roads serving
the local area including the town of Paisley, which
is approximately 2 minutes' drive from the airport.

car parking is available with direct access to the
terminal; long-term parking is operated by Flightpath
(tel: (0)800 128 128).
Public
transport and taxis:
Metered taxis (tel:
(0)141 848 4588) are available 24 hours a day from
the front of the main terminal building. The railway
station in Paisley is 3km (2 miles) from the airport
and is only a few minutes away by taxi or ten minutes
by frequent local buses (the bus fare is included
in a rail ticket bought at the airport public transport
desk). There are eight trains an hour Monday-Saturday
and five trains an hour on Sundays from Paisley
to Glasgow Central rail station. Train services
also run to Ayr and stations on the Clyde Coast.
Shuttle buses to central Glasgow are run by Airport
Express (tel: (0)141 553 1313) and Scottish Citylink
(tel: (0)990 505 050 (UK only). Buses depart every
15 minutes during the day and every half hour in
the evening (journey time: 20 minutes) to various
stops, including rail and bus stations. Buses are
also available to Greenock and Gourock (for ferry
connections).

desk is on the first floor, next to the UK arrivals/departures
area. There are computer information kiosks on the
ground floor and a tourist information desk (tel:
(0)141 848 4400/4758) in international arrivals.

and ATMs around the terminal building. Restaurants,
bars and shopping including duty-free, are concentrated
on the first floor, where there is also a post office
and pharmacy.

the first floor concourse, close to gates 1 and
2. There is also a business centre (tel: (0)141
847 5450; fax: (0)141 847 5499) offering meeting
rooms, conference and training facilities, an IT

and modem facilities are all available.
