Driving directions:
From the
city centre, follow signs for City Airport/Bangor
on the Sydenham Bypass (A2). The airport is located
3km (1 mile) on the left. From the west and south,
take Westlink M3 towards Bangor and the airport
is 3km (1 mile) on the left of the Sydenham bypass
(A2). From the north, take the M3 towards Bangor
and the airport is 3km (1 mile) on the left of the
Sydenham bypass (A2).
Car parking:
Executive,
short-term and long-term secure car parking is available.
Public
transport and taxis:
Trains run
twice an hour to Bangor and Belfast Central station
and leave from the station adjacent to the airport
entrance. A city bus service runs twice an hour
from Sydenham Train Station to Belfast City Hall.
Information
and help desks:
The information
desk (tel: (0)289 045 7745) is situated in the arrivals
area. In the new terminal, the desk is located in
the centre of the main concourse.
Airport
facilities:
The airport
has newspaper and gift shops, a restaurant and snack
and coffee bars open 0630-2130 Monday-Friday 0630-2115
Saturday and 0630-2130 Sunday. There are ATMs in
the departures area, and also internet kiosks.

and meeting rooms are available (tel: (0)289 045
7745) where there are full presentation facilities,
including a secretarial service. Prices are available
on request.
Disabled
Facilities:
A special
check-in desk is provided for disabled passengers.
Staff are trained in basic signing and an induction
loop can be fitted and a textphone can be provided
on request from the information desk. Toilets and
telephones are designed for disabled users; there
are lifts and ramps to all areas and all taxis are
wheelchair-friendly. Many staff are trained in first
aid and porters can assist passengers from the car
park to the check-in desks (there are disabled parking
spaces close to the airport entrance). There are
ambulifts to all aircraft if required. Assistance
can be requested when booking the flight or by notifying
security on arrival. A parenting room is also available.
Airport
Hotels:
The
Belfast Hilton (tel: (0)289 027 7000) is situated
about 3km (2 miles) from the airport; a public
shuttle bus runs from outside the terminal to
the hotel every 90 minutes. The Holiday Inn Express
(tel: (0)289 031 1909) is located about 11km (7
miles) from the airport, whilst the Forte Posthouse
(tel: (0)870 400 9005) is located in the city
centre, within a 10 minute drive of the airport.
