Driving directions:

The Aberdeen airport can be reached via the access road which is signposted from the A96 Aberdeen-Inverness road. The airport is situated 11.3km (7 miles) northwest of Aberdeen city centre on the A947 at Dyce.

Aberdeen Car parking: There are two car parks at the airport; the short-term car park is situated in front of the terminal building. The long-term car park is situated off Forties Road and offers a courtesy bus to the terminal. Disabled drivers can use reduced-rate designated car park spaces in the short-term car park, as long as they display an orange badge. Free trolleys are available from designated areas in the car parks. Passengers can pre-book their car parking for stays of more than 8 days in the long-term car park (tel: (0)800 844 844).

Public transport and taxis:
Bus services operate from the airport to Aberdeen city centre. At weekends services are less frequent and passengers are advised to contact the airport information desk or local operators for further details. Companies which operate from the airport are First Bus (tel: (0)1224 650 066), Bluebird Scottish (tel: (0)1224 212 266), Citylink (tel: (0)8705 505 050) and Watermill Buses (tel: (0)1346 513 050). The nearest train station is Dyce station, where trains depart for Aberdeen and Inverness (tel: (0)845 748 4950 for information). The station can be reached by taxi. From Aberdeen Station, passengers can connect with trains to other destinations in Scotland and England. Taxis depart from a taxi rank outside the terminal building; sample fares are available from the information desk inside the airport terminal.

Information and help desks:
The information desk (tel: (0)1224 722 331) is located in the check-in area on the ground floor of the terminal building. Opening hours are 0500-2200 daily, although staff are also on hand to give assistance outside these hours. Lost property can be reclaimed from the information desk. Tourist information and accommodation enquiries can also be made at the Tourist Information Office (tel: 1224 632 727).

Airport facilities:
There are bookshops and a gift shop at the airport. There is also a bureau de change located before security, opposite the information desk (tel: (0)1224 724 371). It is open 0530-2200 Monday-Friday, 0600-1800 Saturday and 0600-2200 Sunday. There is also an ATM before security and an ATM in the domestic departures lounge. Left luggage facilites are located next to the airport information desk, whilst free trolleys are available in several designated areas in the terminal building. A mother and baby room is also located in the terminal building, near the information desk. The airport has a pub and several restaurants, a bar and a coffee shop. It also has a tax and duty free shop which is located after the security control at gate 1.

Conference and business facilities:
Conference and business facilities are available in the Aberdeen Airport Thistle Hotel (tel: (0)1224 725 252) and the Speedbird Inn (tel: (0)1224 772 884). The Thistle Hotel has conference facilities for up to 600 delegates, whilst the Speedbird Hotel can hold 20 delegates in its conference room. There is also a British Airways Executive Lounge in the airport with facilities for frequent flyers. Aberdeen Airport also has board rooms for rent (tel: (0)1224 725 757 for more information).

Disabled Facilities:
The airport has unisex disabled toilets, as well as ramps and lifts to assist disabled passengers. Disabled drivers can park in reduced-rate parking spaces in the short-term car park, if they display an orange badge.

Airport Hotels: The Aberdeen Airport Thistle Hotel (tel: (0)1224 725 252) and the Speedbird Inn (tel: (0)1224 772 884) are located in the airport grounds. The Thistle Hotel runs a courtesy bus to/from the airport, whereas the Speedbird Inn is located just 400m (437 yards) from the terminal building.
