Northamptonshire is known for Althorp near Northampton because it’s the family home of Diana Princess of Wales. Today you can see an exhibition that tells of her life and her achievements, along with the ancestral home of the Spencer family, that has a fine collection of ceramics, furniture and paintings.

In this county there are a lot of things to explore in the market towns, pretty villages that have traditional pubs and village greens. Here you can walk for ages in the beautiful countryside, going along the historic town trails or waterways by narrow boat. Also there are the stately that are waiting to be discovered.
