a market town and you can’t leave that town without
trying its gingerbread also you can’t leave Bakewell
until you have tried their pudding. These towns and
villages are hidden away in the lovely hills. For bargains
visit the flea market at Chesterfield under the crooked
spire and the many factory shops that are dotted around
the Amber Valley.
In this counties towns and villages the art of well

and flowers only Derbyshire has that answer.
In Derbyshire when you are here you are surrounded by

was used to power the first cotton mills and Derby,
was Britain’s first place for a factory and is

In the lovely countryside are some elegant houses. There
is the grand Chatsworth, Bolsover Castle, Kedleston
Hall, the medieval Haddon Hall and the Elizabethan elegance
of Hardwich Hall.
In Derbyshire other main towns are Chesterfield, Ashbourne,
