Buckinghamshire
is a county in central England, with Northamptonshire,
Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire
and Middlesex the surrounding counties. Buckinghamshire
also has the Thames to the south. Buckinghamshire has
an area of 749 square miles.
In this county the primary rivers
are the Thames, Colle, Ousel and Ouse. Found in the
east central part of the county are The Chiltern Hills.
The most fertile lands are found in the centre in The
Vale of Aylesbury. The main commercial centre in Buckinghamshire
is Aylesbury and Buckingham is the county seat. More
towns are Amersham, Wycombe, Wendover and Risborough.
Other big towns/cities are Slough,
High Wycombe and Milton Keynes.
