Norwich
Norwich City was formed
in 1902. And in 1920 the club was in the English
Third Division and after a good season they
were promoted up to the English Third Division
South in which they stayed there from 1921 to
1933-34 where the club finished in positions
from 22nd to 1st. The club was then promoted
to the English Second Division at the end of
the 1933-34 season.
From 1934-35 season they
spent four more season in this division until
were relegated to the English Third Division
South as the 1938-39 season saw the club finish
in 21st position. After a good run of form in
the 1957-58 season Norwich City gained promotion
to the English Third Division. Having only spent
two seasons in this division they were promoted
to the English Second Division for the 1960-61
season.
From 1960-61 the club
was in the English Second Division until they
were promoted to the English First Division
in the 1971-72 season.
From 1972-73 the club
has been in and out of the English First Division.
Until, they finally settled in the Barclays
First Division in 1987-88. In which they stayed
there for five seasons. When they were promoted
to the F.A Carling Premiership after a good
season in 1992-1993. But in the 1994-95 season
was the last time they were in the premiership
as they had a bad run of form and was relegated
after finishing in 20th place to the Endsleigh
League Division One.
Norwich City has spent
the last eight season from 1996-97 in the Nationwide
Division One. Finishing in positions from 15th
to 8th. But in the 2003-04 season sees the club
currently in 1st position.
Norwich City plays their
football at Carrow Road which has a capacity
of 21,994.

City are Darren Huckerby, Iwan Roberts, Paul
McVeigh, Mark Rivers, Ian Henderson, Leon McKenzie,
Damien Francis, Malky Mackay, Craig Easton,
Mathias Svensson, Philip Mulryne and Ryan Jarvis.
Norwich City hopes to
finish the season at the top of the table or
within the top three. The club also has hopes
of gaining promotion to the Barclaycard Premiership
for next season.
