Player Profile

Inzamam is a batsman blessed with lovely timing and can bludgeon any attack on his day. The burly right-hander appears to have so much more time than other batsmen and hits the ball astoundingly late.

Often accused of being lazy and unwilling to run the quick singles, Inzamam has recently shed the excess kilos and is now a mere shadow of his earlier self. His running between the wickets is still not the most efficient but he makes up for that fault with a calming presence at the crease.

Inzamam is arguably Pakistan's most dependable batsman and is touted to move up the order to provide more stability during the World Cup. He has a strong arm from the deep but is not by any means a fleet-footed fielder.
