The
burly allrounder has improved tremendously in
the space of one season. He is more disciplined
than he has ever been before - both in his approach
to the game and in the execution of his batting,
bowling and slip catching.
He
has already opened the bowling for England and
adds a much-needed depth to the middle-order.
Although he still has a long way to go, there
are signs that Flintoff is beginning to live
up to his great potential. At his best he can
be a game breaker, but his long lay-off after
surgery means we may not see that kind of form
until later in the World Cup. |
