The Angling crew lead by Shirley Robertson won the first gold medal for Britain in the Athens Game.
Partnered by Sarah Ayton and Sarah Webb, the team won the gold medal with a race to spare.
The team was so dominant that they didn’t have to compete in the final place, which was won by the Ukraine who took the silver medal award.
The bronze medal was won by Denmark.
