William went to Mrs Mynors' Nursery School in London then Wetherby School. In 1990 he went to a boarding school in Ludgrove, before completing his education at Eton College, near Windsor Castle. He passed 12 GCSEs and 3 A-Levels. Prince William then took a gap year. He is now a t St. Andrews University where he is studying History of Art.

Homes:
During term time he lives in St. Andrews, Scotland. Then he lives with his family in St. James's Palace, London and Highgrove House, Gloucestershire

Role:
Full-time student. Went on official visits abroad as a child, including Australia and New Zealand (1983) and Italy (1985). In September 2001 saw the Prince carry out his first formal visits with his farther, The Prince of Wales.

Skills:
During his gap year 2000-2001 he worked on a farm, looking after animals. Good sportsman, especially swimming
