| Diana
Princess of Wales
Sunday 31st August 1997 saw the
whole world in shock after the car crash in Paris in
which Diana, Princess of Wales died. Following the crash
there was widespread public mourning at the death of
Diana, a very popular figure, culminating with her funeral,
which was held at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, 6 September
1997.
After Diana’s death, the Princess’s work
still goes on, in the form of commemorative charities
and projects, that were specially set up to help those
in need.
