Mild sharp chest pain. What to do?
My boyfriend called me a few minutes ago from work and complained of having a mild sharp chest pain on the left side near his heart. He's been completely normal all day. No health issues, healthy, and fit. Where he works, they're usually lifting pallets and stuff, heavy things. He told me that he was fine when he got to work. He ate whataburger when he got there around 4 30, then went to clock in. After that, that's when he began to have that pain. It is very mild. He says that it doesn't bother him. It's just one of those annoying sharp pains that comes and goes occasionally. this is the first time he's has this. He's able to fully function, concentrate, and do everything else at his job normally. He has no symptoms of anything else. He says he's fine. Just whenever he takes a deep deep breath, he feels the pain. Otherwise he doesn't really pay attention to it.I told him to take some ibuprofen or Advil.Any concern here?Like I said, he's very healthy and fit. He just kind if worried me a little.
No food for 6 days now I have chest pain?
I'v starved myself for 6 days now yes I know it's stupid, I'v been having a lot to drink though. I have tried to eat but just can't get myself to do it but I'v been suffering from a cold for 3 days and just now I'm starting with chest pain.. What's happening??
What would cause chest pain?
I have been having moderate at severe chest pain that comes and goes. It raps down to my armpit and shoulder. I have also been having pain in my lower abdomen when I cough I don't believe its related tho I believe its stress. But don't want to go to the doctor and it be nothing. Help
I've got serious chest pain at 18?
I'm 18 years old I live a very active life I'm a road construction worker. For the past two nights I've Been getting serious pain right in the center of my chest. Last night it was dull tonight it was sharp. This always happens 3 4 in the morning. It's scaring me. Any help??
Why am I having chest pains?
You know those chest pains that feel like heart burn but its not and you can't take deep breathes because it hurts? Well I nearly constantly have them now,I have it as I type this When it first started I put it down to this bra I was wearing which was pretty tight so I switched bra. Now its constant and I'm worried but my mam thinks it might be down to stress because I have my leaving cert exams coming up and it might be a form of panic attacks which is what I would have thought unusual for me because up until now I've been pretty laid back I am a worrier but I never thought I could stress myself out so easily,I think its stress because I have this skin thing where my cheeks go red and skin sort of comes off and not even moisturizer helps. My mam gave me a few drops of this stuff that is supposed to help stress and make me more relaxed. But I don't understand..the chest pains are still here and I'm not even doing anything at all just well..relaxed. Its difficult to breathe it feels like I'm always having a heart attack minus the shooting pains up my arm. It hurts to breathe and I worry myself more about it. I will go to the doctor. So far I'm sticking with stress but could you think of any other possibilities,its just not like me I need help

Heart discomfort at 16???Odd pains in heart area, opinions?Hey I'm Katy, 16 years old from London,I've been experiencing chest pains and discomfort on the left side for 4 months now, it's been a long and dull time in my life and I've been experiencing a lot of anxiety over it, I've been to see about 6 different medical experts in total, including a peadiatrician whom have all said it doesn't sound serious and reassured me it wasn't my heart, but are still hopping between the possibility a of it being either acid reflux or a muscular pain, I've had 3 ecgs, had a paramedic come to my house, seen a specialist who looks at the heart and stomach area paediatrician , blood test and chest xray that have come back ok also I got scared at asked the paediatrician if I had a weak heart, and these tests wouldn't show it up? And he said something like no you don't have a weak heart the blood work would of shown it or something like that? Does anyone have any idea what he meant?The do docs have all said its nothing serious so calm down etc etc, I've been to a and e loads as well, and all these doctors have been very good My mum has booked a private echocardiogram to be done, bless her, it's booked for 6 days away, I know it's awful but I feel like I need it to be done urgently, likes can't wait that long I feel like something dreadful will happen I between this time, it's awful but I cannot control myself to ignore this thought I'm now having to wait a week to see a doc who will check me over againOh and ive been taking acid reflux tablets that haven't made a difference So yeah I'm basically just in discmfort constantly, and I'm feeling all the time, depressed and just want it to go away, there is nothing more I can do as I have tried everything, and just every doctor I've seen have said it doesn't sound like anything serious, most have actually suggested acid reflux but tablets aren't making a differenceI'd just like people's opinions really, thank you Symptoms heavy heart beat, sharp pains lasting 2 secs happen once a day or every few days, heart beats sort of feel uncomfortable, or whenever my heart beats it feels like a pinching sensation, when I breathe I feel a flutter sometimes, in that area, stress, panic, tiredness, non stop for weeks I've also been suffering with panick attacks at the beggining of this chest pain but that was weeks ago, I feel more calm now but it's still constantly on my mind
Im having chest pains?
At random points, from when im sitting doing nothing to running about, i get intense chest pains on the right side of my chest. These appear suddenly and very painfully. They can vary in how long the last, from 5 minutes to the longest of 4 hours. the pain gets worse when i breath in but is not gone when i am not breathing. Im just wondering what it is. oh and im 18 by the way.

This morning I began to get little sharp, shooting pains in the center of my chest.Suddenly, a few minutes ago, I got a very sharp, shooting pain through my chest and it kind of effected my throat, not with pain, just... I feel some strange sensation in my throat, but more in my chest.What could this mean? I researched a bit, but I don't exactly want to convince myself I have heart cancer....
Huge chest pain after swallowing a huge amount of water all at once?
The problem is that today I swallowed a mouth full of water all at once and I immediately got this extreme pain in my chest that knocked the air out of me and I'm really scared it might cause heart problems This has NEVER happened to me before and I'm wondering if this is something I should tell my doctor about Please help me Is it a health problem that I need to tell my doctor about or is it normal?? Does Hydroxycut cause chest pain?
I have been taking Hydroxycut for 3 days. My last dose was about 6 hours ago. I have been experiencing some moderate chest pain on the left side and slight pain in the same spot when I inhale deeply. I took 2 asprin to help the pain, but I want to make sure I am ok. I am 23 years old. Has anyone else experienced this on Hydroxycut?
I'm having chest pains at 18?
I've did some reading and it could be costochondritis inflammation of cartilage in the chest but it doesn't say anything about a racing heart beat. I'm not anxious about anything, I don't smoke, heart attacks do run in the family though.

Hi, I'm a 14 year old boy. Recently, I'm having pain on the left side of the chest. It is mainly around the chest wall and middle chest. Sometimes I also get left arm pain. I have cold and mucus related problems. My nose canal and throat are blocked by mucus 24 7. My lungs are weak . I rarely cough, but I could feel mucuses are stuck around my throat. I belive they are also in my chest, which is causing the pain. What do you think ? Thanks
Why am I getting chest pains?
Hi ok so I masturbated and thought someone was coming in my room and it turned out to be my dog, but my heat like skipped a beat and all the blood rushed to my face and i was scared it felt like my heart was in my throat btw I am on my period I am really scared im gonna have a heart attack and like die im kinda having chest pains nothing too serious but could it be from just being paranoid and if I were to have a heart attack i woukd be dead by now right sorry about lack of grammar dont judge and please no mean non serious or inappropriate answers thank you.
Chest pain when i lift my arms? (quick question)?
Thank you for answering, i appreciate it. I breathe fine, it isn't my heart that hurts but my actual chest area between my breasts. This morning when i lifted off my shirt to change, i got a sharp, heavy chest pain that lasted about 40 seconds, and then went away. Just now i went to go tie my hair in a pony tail and head to bed but i got that pain again when i lifted my arms. I can't afford the doctors right now and i don't think it's too serious, any ideas what could be wrong?
