Relieve chest pain/anxiety caused by morphine?
A few days ago I had surgery and am now taking morphine to relieve the pain. I have had bad experiences with anxiety over the past few months and tonight, about an hour after a dose of morphine, started to feel intense tightness and discomfort in my chest. This triggered a bout of anxiety which I have read is also a common side effect of morphine. Now I feel very bloated, my chest feels really tight and hurts and I'm feeling anxious and nauseous. I want to throw up pass gas but can't.Please, any help would be appreciated Thank you

10 points best answer... all answers are great appreciated< 3So my boyfriend is 17 years old he has a really bad concave chest, he complains of random chest plains here and there that are sharp. but in may they got so bad and lasted almost an hour and he couldnt walk or take a deep breath he almost went to the hospital but didnt. and now again today he had them really bad for like 30 mins... then he went to sleep or tired to and he wont tell his mom.. do you think these pains are realted to his concave chest or something different? thier in the middle of his chest and its sharp pains that shoot to the top and bottom of chest... kinda scared.

Whats it mean when you have a sharp chest pain and your right arm feels numb?
I just had a really sharp chest pain on my right side of my chest and my right arm feels numb a little. What does this mean? I'm only 17 yrs old if this helps.

I was at the ER last night for chest pain and they called this morning to say the chest Xray was abnormal?
The doctor called this morning and said I should get a CAT scan because my aorta has two " bumps" instead of just one like it should and my heart is slightly enlarged. She said something about a mass in the chest. How serious is this? Last night they said all the tests were normal. I am going in for the CAT scan this morning.

Having chest pain...?
Today I've noticed I have moderate to severe chest pain. It starts in the center of my chest and in the center of my upper back and then goes from side to side of my chest, mainly staying on yhe left side though. It hurts worse with deep breaths and when I am walking. When I lay down it is minor and when I'm sitting.I hve been really stressed out today and I know that has to be playing a huge role. I've also been quite depressed and sometimes have anxiety. I haven't for a few weeks though.Should I call my doctor or is it nothing to worry about? There was a time once where j went to the ER for chest pain and they told me I had " heart burn" . Yeah...

Why do i get such bad chest pain after i run?
i am 14 years old in 9th grade. last year we had to run a mile, only a mile, for gym class. as i was running i noticed that i was getting this awful pain in my chest. it felt like everything was frozen. it hurt when i breathed and i wanted to stop but i couldnt because i had time to beat and it would hurt my grade if i stopped moving. but it hurt so bad and it makes me dread track. it takes a while for it to slowly start going away and i told my gym teacher and he just said to go at an easier pace. i first thought it was just breathing in the cold air but now i am running in summer and still get it. it worries me

Head pains (NOT headache.) Chest pains, blacking out.?
So, for the last two days I've been having chest pains. The first time it felt like I was getting like a heart cramps or something. And today during dance practice, I had pains right at the bottom of and behind my ribs, above my bellybutton, all across. But it wasn't really the same as the 1st one, it was less painful and not as sharp.Also, I get these really weird pains in my head. NOT just headaches. It's kind of like, somethings pressing on my brain but it's different parts. sometimes it'll be i the back side parts of my head, sometimes in the very front above my forehead. They last 1 10 seconds, and shortly after i'll get a headache for a few minutes, it will go away, then start again.Also, every now and then, I'll get a shock in my neck. I'll just be walking or something and it feels like someone's tazing me for half a second, either just in my neck, or from my neck, down the rest of that side of my body. And then it just goes back to normal like nothing happened. It's weird.Oh and I've been blacking out a lot recently. Only for about 1 2 seconds. It happened today in 3rd pd, and the other day at dance practice, and some other times.I'm not sure if any of that is connected or what,but I'm thinking about going to the doctor soon. So it wasn't from standing up too quick.. And it wasn't reaaaallly " blacking out," I guess Everything just kind of disappeared for a few seconds.

Chest pain or heart burn?
I always thought heart burn me being a lady occurred under the left breast?This evening 20minutes after dinner for about 5minutes I had this chest pain ? below my breasts right in the middle. it slowly died off. this happens to me every now and then, but just wanted to know if this is chest pain or heart burn because sometimes this chest pain happens even though I haven't eaten for a few hours.thanks heaps

Chest Pain/Left Arm Pain?
Left chest and arm pain about every once a week. A little about me 22 years old, 163lbs, 5'6ft, i go to the gym daily, I was a smoker for a couple of years. Pain only occurs while i'm resting. While I exercise it seems to go away. I also sometimes have a shortness of breath usually not with the chest and arm pain .I did the EKG and Stress test and the results are good. I did the heart echo test and I'm waiting for the results the test were they use the monitor to see your heart The chest pain has been occurring for a coupe of months, it started to occur more frequently later on, and then left arm pain started occurring. Just wondering what might be the possible causes. Thank you

Chest pain and yaz, help?
3 sundays ago, i started taking loestrin, which made me feel SO depressed. i didnt want to do anything but curl up in a ball and sleep, so then my doctor switched me to yaz. i just started taking yaz this past sunday, and my mood has changed greatly. i feel like myself again, but now im having chest pain and starting to worry. should i switch back to loestrin, stay on yaz, or go to a completely new medication?
