French Meat Loaf
Yield: 6 Servings
Ingredients
1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 sm onion; finely chopped
1 c dry bread crumbs
1 c shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 c sweet-and-spicy French
dressing
2 eggs
1 4-ounce can sliced mushrooms;
drained
1/2 ts salt
1/2 ts black pepper
1/2 c ketchup
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine all
of the ingredients except
the ketchup; mix well. Place
in a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan that
has been coated with non-stick
vegetable spray. Spread the
ketchup evenly over the top.
Bake for 1 to 1 1/4 hours,
or until the juices run clear.
Allow to sit for 5 minutes.
Pour off the excess liquid,
slice, and serve.
NOTE: Served cold on
white bread.
