Sheffield is changing all the time; since we started in 1998 we've seen so many new pubs and bars open and there's obviously a lot of money coming into the town so now is the time to be here. If you're after clubs then try the Leadmill (not really my thing but most people know it), Music Factory, or The Republic. There's the laaarge Sheffield Arena for indoor band-sort-of entertainment but any time there's a big band at the Don Valley Stadium then go along. The best pubs can be mapped straight from the Uni itself now; Frog and Parrott is hard to miss (try some "Roger and Out" brew) and nor is the Fat Cat if you like your ales. Naturally there's lots of shopping to be done; if you're a true professional then visit Meadowhall which you could call quite big.
