Plymouth

The best way to have fun in Plymouth is to party in your campus. The University is actually spread out over Plymouth, Exeter, Exmouth and Newton Abbot, so students tend to group together in their own campuses and cliques. The campus area in Portsmouth has its fair share of cheap student bars and club nights, and the beer is cheap, although slightly watery. Maybe it's the sea air.

Actually, being by the sea is the best bit about Plymouth. You can enjoy the seagulls and the biting wind, but when the sun comes up, it's really refreshing to be in a largish city with excellent party things to do (funnily enough, it seems to revolve around drinking) but also by the seaside.

Being in Plymouth, which is the focal point of the spread out University, is a bit like being on a 3-year, club "18-30" holiday. Great stuff.
