Hull was a bit of a surprise to me; it is a really good night out. Really.And it's nice to look at in places; there are loads of small shopping arcades and avenues in the town centre. There are pedestrian precincts, tonnes of cafes, pubs, clubs, art galleries, you name it. Hull is the tenth largest city in the UK and takes a bit of exploring. If you're like me, though, you'll want countryside and, around Hull, there's more than you can hope for - to the North there's the cliffs at Flamborough which I give you as a big recommendation.
