Birmingham
I suppose the main attractions
are (apart from myself of course) Broad Street
& Brindley Place - the place for all your
bars, pubs (as totally distinct from "Bars")
and clubs - lots of dancing to be had and a good
mix of cheese with trendy so you could probably
class the place as Trendy Cheese.
Take a peak at National
Exhibition Centre (home of Clothes Show Live &
Good Food show - you can see what my main priorities
are!) & National Indoor Arena (home of the
Gladiators - er, before they were axed - have
they actually been axed yet?).
Lots of shops all over the
place too numerous to name-drop and a Chinese
Quarter - restaurants (of course) mixed in with
more bars and clubs....and pubs.
A choice of theatres and
The Symphony Hall for a bit of culture and then
down to the Sea Life Centre which has plenty of
fish and other sea life like seaweed and shells.
Jewellery Quarter - bit
rough and clearly not the place for students on
a tight budget either.
I expect I should add Birmingham
City Football club in as a mention but would hardly
put it in the "Sports" category.
