Cockermouth lacks perhaps the presence of diners that many of the large towns and cities have. Nevertheless there are a number of popular chippies and places that sell hot and cold pies. If you fancy an Indian, Italian or Chinese then these are aplenty too. Other than that there are numerous cafes and bistros and the usual fast food outlets – KFC, Burger King, Mcdonalds and pizza ranches.
