Abingdon hardly makes for the eating capital of Britain but it does have several Indian restaurants, Chinese take-aways and a few fish & chip shops dotted around. Arguably the best restaurant is the Dil Raj which has great Indian cuisine, and the Prince of India is a close second. On most nights you’ll find a kebab van in the Market Square and if you don’t fancy that, try the kebab shop on Ock Street.
