Keanu Reeves
Keanu Charles Reeves was
born September 2, 1964 in Beirut, Lebanon. He
moved to Canada with his mother and as he grew
up he took up a number of jobs, including sharpening
skates at an ice rink shop, landscaping, and
making pasta.
His first steps towards acting came through
stage work and in 1984 he made his stage debut
in ‘Wolfboy’. Keanu's first feature
film debut in Hollywood was in Youngblood, albeit
that he had a tiny role.
After landing ‘River’s Edge’
a string of roles followed, mostly of him playing
a troubled teenager. He went on to earn himself
a decent reputation by starring in films such
as Dangerous Liaisons, Bram Stoker's Dracula,
Much Ado About Nothing, and Little Buddha. It
was not until the 1994 film ‘Speed’
became a huge hit at the box office that Keanu
was really noticed. Since then he has become
incredibly famous with the ‘Matrix’
trilogy.
