George Timothy Clooney was born May 6, 1961, in Lexington, Kentucky. As a kid he would appear in his father’s show ‘The Nick Clooney Show’ but went on to study broadcast journalism and even tried to pursue a career in baseball. He had roles in a number of low key films and TV shows including ‘Roseanne’.

It was not until he was cast in the medical drama ER as Doctor Douglass Ross that he really became a household name. On the back of this he starred in his first feature film ‘From Dusk till Dawn’ and went on to star in a number of others including ‘One Fine Day’. More recent films have included ‘O Brother? Where Art Thou?’ and ‘Oceans 11’.
