Benjamin Geza Affleck was born August 15, 1972, in Berkeley, California. His dad was a former actor and director, and by the age of 8 Ben had featured in a Burger King ad and was starring in the series ‘The Voyage of the Mimi’. This is also when he met his future partner in crime Matt Damon whilst he continued to get short roles in films and TV programmes.

With both Affleck and Damon hard on their luck they came up with the script ‘Good Will Hunting’ which earned them an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. He went on to star in a string of films including Armageddon, Shakespeare in Love and Dogma (again with Damon). With the release of ‘Pearl Harbor’ Affleck became a superstar. He has since been dating diva J Lo on/off.
