Ashanti Douglas
was born on October 13 1980. From a very young
age she began singing in a choir and got a break
when she was signed by Murder Inc Records. She
started getting noticed when she debuted on major
hit singles – teaming up with the likes
of Ja rule, J Lo and Fat Joe. Since then she’s
released a number of hit records.
