Jessica Claire Biel was born on March 3rd, 1982 in Ely, Minnesota and raised in Boulder, Colorado. Contrary to her character Mary ("7th Heaven") her likes aren't basketball but soccer although she controls the basketball very good, too! Besides she likes singing and dancing, rollerblading and mountain biking. In the winter she enjoys ice skating. Jessica, called Jessie by all her friends, was discovered at the 1994 IMTA Los Angeles Convention. So she got a scholarship to Diane Hardin's well-known Young Actors Space in Los Angeles.

Among other things her incredible beauty has caught the eye of some of Hollywood's most influential people and so she plays now since the fall of 1996 Mary Camden in "7th Heaven". She also played in "Ulee's Gold", starring Peter Fonda, "It's A Digital World", numerous television commercials and 1998 together with "Home Improvement"-Tim Taylor-son Jonathan Taylor Thomas in "I'll Be Home For Christmas".
