Alison, of English, French and German descent, was born in High Wycombe, England, just outside London. At the age of one, her family moved to Hong Kong, where she was raised for twenty years. An agile, athletic tomboy as a youngster, she began swimming competitively at age four, winning numerous medals and honours on her way to representing

Hong Kong's swim team and becoming captain of every women's sports team at her high school. "I hated skirts," she explains with a smile. Already travelling the world to visit family in Europe, Kenya, Africa and Peru as a young girl, Alison became infatuated with Southern California by watching the popular American TV show Charlie's Angel's.During her last four years in Hong Kong, she travelled to and from America as a foreign student to study computer science at the University of San Diego. Alison began acting classes, and appearances on various TV shows and commercials soon followed. She caught the eye of producer Micheline Keller who, after a world-wide talent search, cast Alison as the sleek and graceful Marie Claire "Cat" Pascal in the TV series Acapulco H.E.A.T. Shot in a beautiful tropical setting, the show features Cat as the cool, intelligent former thief who now fights international terrorists, drug kingpins and criminals as a member of the H.E.A.T. team.
