bars and clubs in Bury
Bury is a small town in Greater
Manchester but has a number of fun-filled venues for
people of all ages and tastes. It has a great number
of venues and entertainment on during the night.
There are a variety of music styles for people of all
tastes – everything from dance, brit pop, soul,
jazz and even disco. The town is well equipped with
a range of places for the complete night out. There
are modern lounge bars for the young and trendy working
people, cheap and cheerful bars and clubs for the hard
up student contingent, and even old-style inns and pubs
for the more mature of us out there.
The town has two of the most popular bars in the UK
– namely, Chicago Rock and Yates’s. The
highlight of the nightlife is Sol and Viva Nightclub
that has a fun-filled atmosphere for both gay and straight
people. The music style is predominantly 70’s
to the 90’s, chart music, dance, garage, rhythm
and blues and soul. An alternative to this is Maxwells
which has a mixture of an exciting and traditional atmosphere
(depending on which room you’re in) and plays
Brit pop, chart music, dance and disco to get you grooving.
