Burford is in Oxfordshire and has a number of bars and pubs but a relatively tame nightlife. The atmosphere on the whole is friendly with many themed nights – including cabaret, disco, dance, chart and jazz. If you’re after a relatively cheap night out at packed locals and smoky bars than this will be right up your alley. The local taverns are where most of the locals will find themselves on nights out. Burford especially has a good selection of friendly pubs. As a small village most are in walking distance of each other. One such is The Rose & Crown and another is The Golden Pheasant Inn – both are relatively popular.
