Bolton is another of Lancashire’s major cities and has a great number of venues and entertainment on during the night. There are modern lounge bars for the young and trendy working people, cheap and cheerful bars and clubs for the hard up student contingent, and even old-style inns and pubs for the more mature of us out there. Atlantis Night Club is one of Bolton’s principal clubs with a traditional atmosphere and features music from the 70’s, 80’s Brit Pop, chart music, dance and disco. Alongside its own themed bars and clubs it has popular and well-established favourites such as Yates’s and Chicago Rock that plays music from the last five decades, holds karaoke competitions and even hosts tribute bands. An alternative to these is the Temple Mondo which has a largely fun-filled and vibrant atmosphere with music styles that include garage, hip hop, rhythm and blues. A similar venue is Bar Juice which also has the additional funk.
