This is a small town in Northumberland but has a number of venues, especially old-style inns to add to its homely atmosphere. These include popular locals such as Brown Bear, The Cross Inn and The Elizabethan all in close proximity. By far the most popular club (actually the only one) is Bedrocks. This has strict codes of dress and closing times are petty rigid, but if you are after a night out on the town and one that does not feature staring into the bottom of a pint of lager at your local pub – then this is worth the entrance fee.
